Article 1

1. Staff of the Foundation and those persons satisfying the conditions laid down in Article 38 (2), (3) and (4) of the Conditions of Employment of staff of the Foundation shall be affiliated to the Joint Sickness Insurance Scheme of the institutions of the European Communities. 2. The Rules on Sickness Insurance for officials of the European Communities shall apply to the abovementioned staff and persons and those entitled under them.
