The 2006 International Tropical Timber Agreement ( 1 ) (‘the 2006 Agreement’) is hereby approved on behalf of the Union.

The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to deposit the instrument of approval on behalf of the Union with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in accordance with Article 36(2) of the 2006 Agreement.
