Competent authorities

Article 27

Each Member State shall notify the Commission of the authorities responsible for fulfilling the obligations arising under this Directive. Member States shall inform the Commission of any changes in the identity of such authorities.

Guidance, monitoring and control system

Article 28

1.   Member States shall, with due respect to their constitutional structure, put in place relevant mechanisms in order to ensure that appropriate guidance, monitoring and control of the level of reception conditions are established. 2.   Member States shall submit relevant information to the Commission in the form set out in Annex I, by 20 July 2016 at the latest.

Staff and resources

Article 29

1.   Member States shall take appropriate measures to ensure that authorities and other organisations implementing this Directive have received the necessary basic training with respect to the needs of both male and female applicants. 2.   Member States shall allocate the necessary resources in connection with the national law implementing this Directive.
