Article 5 of Decision 2013/353/CFSP is amended as follows: (a) in paragraph 1, the following subparagraph is added: ‘The financial reference amount intended to cover the expenditure related to the mandate of the EUSR for the period from 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014 shall be EUR 1 040 000.’; (b) in paragraph 2, the first sentence is replaced by the following: ‘The expenditure financed by the amount set out in the first subparagraph of paragraph 1 shall be eligible as from 1 July 2013 ’.

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption. It shall apply as of 1 January 2014.
