Committee procedure
1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Committee for Fisheries and Aquaculture established by Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013. That committee shall be a committee within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011. 2. Where reference is made to this paragraph, Article 5 of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011 shall apply.
Entry into force
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 1 January 2014. However, Article 8 shall apply from 1 February 2014. The provisions on fishing opportunities set out in Articles 24, 25 and 26 and Annexes IE and V for the CCAMLR Convention Area shall apply from the dates specified therein.
