Article 1

The Agreement for scientific and technological cooperation between the European Union and the Faroe Islands associating the Faroe Islands to Horizon 2020 — the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) is hereby approved on behalf of the Union  ( 2 ) .

Article 2

The President of the Council shall, on behalf of the Union, give the notification provided for in Article 5(2) of the Agreement  ( 3 ) .

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
