Article 1
Paraffin oil, when used for coating eggs in order to control the population size of nesting birds, is not a biocidal product for the purposes of Article 3(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012.

This Decision shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
