Committee procedure
1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Committee for Fisheries and Aquaculture established by Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013. That committee shall be a committee within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011. 2. Where reference is made to this paragraph, Article 5 of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011 shall apply.
Transitional provision
Articles 9, 11(2), 12, 18, 19, 24, 28, 29, 30, 34, 37, 41 shall continue to apply, mutatis mutandis , in 2018 until the entry into force of the Regulation fixing the fishing opportunities for 2018.
Entry into force
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 1 January 2017. However, Article 8 shall apply from 1 February 2017. The provisions on fishing opportunities set out in Articles 19, 20 and 21 and Annexes IE and V for certain stocks in the CCAMLR Convention Area shall apply from 1 December 2016.
