Article 1
The Agreement to Prevent Unregulated High Seas Fisheries in the Central Arctic Ocean (βthe Agreementβ) is hereby approved on behalf of the Union. The text of the Agreement is attached to this Decision.

Article 2
The President of the Council shall designate the person(s) empowered to deposit, on behalf of the Union, the instruments of approval provided for in Article 15 of the Agreement.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
