Open ↗For the purposes of Article 89(3) of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012, the date of approval of vinegar for product-type 19 is 1 June 2021.

Open ↗This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

Open ↗ANNEX In Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 528/2012, in Category 4 of the list of active substances referred to in Article 25(a), the following entry is added: EC number Name/group Restriction Comment ‘Not available Vinegar ( *1 ) Excluding vinegar that is not food and excluding vinegar that contains more than 10 % acetic acid (whether or not it is food). CAS No 8028-52-2 ( *1 ) The date of approval of vinegar for product-type 19 for the purposes of Article 89(3) is 1 June 2021.’.
