Decision (CFSP) 2020/979 is hereby amended as follows: (1) The second subparagraph of Article 1(1) is replaced by the following: ‘The project shall consist of two phases, “Phase I” and “Phase II”. — During Phase I, in the first year of the implementation, a feasibility study for the development of an internationally recognised Arms and Ammunition Management Validation System (“AAMVS”) was undertaken to investigate options for appropriate methodologies and tools for the assessment of risk and quality; — During Phase II, based on the outcome of the feasibility study of Phase I, a concept for the creation of an AAMVS shall be developed.’; (2) Article 3(2) is replaced by the following: ‘2. The amount intended to cover Phase I of the project is EUR 821 872. The amount intended to cover Phase II of the project is EUR 820 237.’; (3) Article 5 is replaced by the following: ‘Article 5 This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption. It shall expire on 30 November 2022.’.
