The Commission is hereby authorised to negotiate, on behalf of the Union, a status agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Senegal on operational activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in the territory of the Republic of Senegal.

The negotiations shall be conducted on the basis of the negotiating directives of the Council set out in the addendum to this Decision, and in consultation with the appropriate Working Party of the Council.
