Article 12

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . Chapters I and II and Chapter III, Sections 3 and 4, shall apply from 1 January 2021. Chapter III, Sections 1 and 2, shall apply from 16 October 2020. Chapter III, Section 5, shall apply from 1 August 2020. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
