Calculation of the own resource based on non-recycled plastic packaging waste

Article 6

1. The own resource based on non-recycled plastic packaging waste shall be calculated as set out in point (c) of Article 2(1) of Decision (EU, Euratom) 2020/2053. The weight of plastic packaging waste that is not recycled shall be calculated in accordance with Article 6a of Directive 94/62/EC and the methodology set out in Decision 2005/270/EC, and in particular in Article 6c thereof. 2. For each Member State, the amount of the own resource based on non-recycled plastic packaging waste shall be calculated in euro. 3. The amount of the own resource based on non-recycled plastic packaging waste in a given year shall be determined based on the forecast referred to in Article 5(4).
