Commission Decision (EU) 2023/841 of 19 April 2023 appointing the Commission representatives to the Management Board and the Budget Committee of the European Union Intellectual Property Office
1. The representatives of the Commission on the Management Board and the Budget Committee of the Office shall be the following persons:
(a)
the Deputy Director-General of DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs responsible for intellectual property and its enforcement, including the fight against counterfeiting;
(b)
the Director in DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs responsible for intellectual property and its enforcement, including the fight against counterfeiting.
2. The alternates shall be the following persons:
(a)
the Head of Unit in DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs responsible for intellectual property and its enforcement, including the fight against counterfeiting;
(b)
the Head of Unit responsible for decentralised agencies in DG Budget.
This Decision shall apply to the persons occupying, including on a temporary basis, the positions referred to in Article 1 at the date of adoption of this Decision, or to any successor of those persons in those positions.
The Director-General of DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs shall inform the Chairperson of the Management Board, the Chairperson of the Budget Committee and the Executive Director of the Office of the names of the persons referred to in Article 1.
This Decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
Decision C(2016) 3228 final is repealed.
