Article 1

Annex I to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1988 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the seventh day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

It shall apply to the tariff quota periods starting from 1 January 2024 onwards.

In Annex I, section ‘Tariff quotas in the sector of sheepmeat and goatmeat’, to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1988, in the table relating to the tariff quota with order number 09.1922, 09.2115 and 09.2116, the row ‘Quantity’ is replaced by the following:

‘ Quantity

Year 2024: 8 727 000 kg of carcass weight equivalent.

The volume increases by 200 000 kg per annum’
