Entry into force and application

Article 53

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . Article 18(1), point (a), as regards the environmental risk, Article 18(1), point (c)(vii), and Article 18(2), point (b)(v), shall apply from 1 January 2025. Article 21(1), point (b), shall apply from 1 January 2026.
