Article 2
This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . Point (1) of the Annex to this Decision shall apply from 1 October 2026.

ANNEX Annex I to Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1668 is amended as follows: (1) row 42 is deleted; (2) the following row is inserted: ‘42a. EN 14983:2024 Explosion prevention and protection in underground mines – Equipment and protective systems for firedamp drainage’.
