Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1427 of 17 July 2025 making imports of certain polyethylene terephthalate (PET) originating in Vietnam subject to registration

1. The customs authorities are hereby directed, under Article 14(5) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036, to take the appropriate steps to register imports into the Union of polyethylene terephthalate (‘PET’), having a viscosity of 78 ml/g or higher, according to ISO Standard 1628-5 currently classified under CN code 3907 61 00 and originating in Vietnam. 2. Registration shall expire nine months following the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
