Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1427 of 17 July 2025 making imports of certain polyethylene terephthalate (PET) originating in Vietnam subject to registration

Article 1

1.   The customs authorities are hereby directed, under Article 14(5) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036, to take the appropriate steps to register imports into the Union of polyethylene terephthalate (‘PET’), having a viscosity of 78 ml/g or higher, according to ISO Standard 1628-5 currently classified under CN code 3907 61 00 and originating in Vietnam.

2.   Registration shall expire nine months following the date of entry into force of this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
