Decision of the Bureau of the European Parliament of 18 May 2026 amending the Rules on access to the European Parliament

In Article 2 of the Rules, paragraph 6 is replaced by the following: ‘6. The visitors referred to in paragraphs 4 and 5 shall be met by the Member that issued the invitation, by that Member’s assistant or by that Member’s trainee at one of Parliament’s entrances. They shall be permanently accompanied by the Member, by that Member’s assistant or by that Member’s trainee during the entire time that they spend on Parliament’s premises.’.
This Decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
