The opening of negotiations for sectoral agreements between the Union and Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, respectively, on roaming on public mobile communications networks is hereby authorised.
The Commission is hereby nominated as the Union negotiator.
The negotiating directives set out in the addendum to this Decision are hereby addressed to the Commission.
The negotiations shall be conducted in consultation with the Working Party on Enlargement and Countries Negotiating Accession to the EU (COELA), which is hereby designated as the special committee provided for in ArticleΒ 218(4) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The Commission shall report regularly to that special committee on the progress of the negotiations. Additionally, negotiations on roaming issues shall be conducted in consultation with the Working Party on Telecommunications and Information Society.
This Decision is addressed to the Commission.
