1. The customs authorities are hereby directed, under Article 14(5) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036 to take the appropriate steps to register imports into the Union of bolted and boltless steel shelving units and components thereof, namely steel uprights with two flat connecting surfaces and steel beams without welded upright connectors, where the shelving unit includes any of such components whether or not with decks (regardless of their material), currently falling under CN codes ex 9403 20 80 and ex 9403 99 10 (TARIC codes 9403 20 80 20 and 9403 99 10 20) originating in the People’s Republic of China.
2. Registration shall expire nine months following the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
