Article 24

The accounting officer shall assume responsibility for the revenue orders duly drawn up. He shall see to it that the resources due to the Centre are recovered at the due dates stipulated in the revenue orders, and that the rights of the Centre are safeguarded. The accounting officer shall inform the authorizing officer and the Financial Controller of any revenue not recovered within the time limits laid down.
