Article 7

Recovery To improve the results obtained in the post-clearance collection of duties unpaid or evaded on the recovery of amounts wrongly paid out, the Commission shall submit a report on the Member States' legal provisions and the difficulties encountered by their customs authorities. Within the framework of its powers, the Commission shall do its utmost to coordinate the measures taken in this field by the Member States and shall propose appropriate amendments to safeguard the interests of the Community.
