Article 6

1. Without prejudice to paragraph 2, suppliers shall be officially registered in relation to the activities which they carry out under this Directive. The responsible official body may deem suppliers, who are already registered under Directive 77/93/EEC, to be registered for the purposes of the current Directive. Such suppliers shall nonetheless comply with the requirements of the current Directive. 2. Paragraph 1 shall not apply to suppliers marketing only to persons not professionally engaged in the production or sale of ornamental plants or propagating material. Such suppliers shall nonetheless comply with the requirements of the current Directive.
