Article 17

Role of the Commission in the public information system The Commission shall: 1. be responsible for managing the information system for the public; 2. construct, in consultation with the contact points, a dedicated website for the Network on its Internet site; 3. provide information on relevant aspects of Community law and procedures, including Community case-law, in accordance with Article 14; 4. (a) ensure that the format of the information sheets is consistent and that they include all information considered necessary by the Network; (b) thereafter arrange for them to be translated into the other official languages of the Institutions of the Community, and install them on the site dedicated to the Network.
