Article 14
1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health. 2. Where reference is made to this Article, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC shall apply. The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at three months." 5. Council Directive 89/556/EEC of 25 September 1989 on animal health conditions governing intra-Community trade in and importation from third countries of embryos of domestic animals of the bovine species(12). Articles 17 and 18 shall be replaced by the following: "Article 17 1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health set up pursuant to Article 58 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002(13). 2. Where reference is made to this Article, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC(14) shall apply. The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at 15 days. 3. The Committee shall adopt its Rules of Procedure.
