Article 19
1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health. 2. Where reference is made to this Article, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC shall apply. The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at 15 days." 3. Council Directive 88/661/EEC of 19 December 1988 on the zootechnical standards applicable to breeding animals of the porcine species(7). Article 11 shall be replaced by the following: "Article 11 1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Standing Committee on Zootechnics set up pursuant Decision 77/505/EEC. 2. Where reference is made to this Article, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC(8) shall apply. The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at three months. 3. The Committee shall adopt its Rules of Procedure." 4. Council Directive 89/437/EEC of 20 June 1989 on hygiene and health problems affecting the production and the placing on the market of egg products(9). Articles 13 and 14 shall be replaced by the following: "Article 13 1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health set up pursuant to Article 58 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002(10). 2. Where reference is made to this Article, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC(11) shall apply. The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at 15 days. 3. The Committee shall adopt its Rules of Procedure.
