Suspension of time limits

Article 27

Where, in respect of an active substance listed in Annex I to this Regulation, the Commission presents a proposal for a total prohibition by way of a draft Council act based on Article 6(3) of Directive 79/117/EEC, the time limits provided for in this Regulation shall be suspended while the Council considers that proposal. Where the Council adopts an amendment to the Annex to Directive 79/117/EEC requiring the total prohibition of that active substance, the procedure under this Regulation shall be terminated for that active substance.
