Article 18
Taking into account its international obligations, the Union shall strive to promote favourable access to its market for the timber and derived products covered by this Agreement. Such efforts shall include: (a) the encouragement of public and private procurement policies that recognise efforts to ensure a supply of legally harvested forest produce, in particular timber and derived products; and (b) the promotion of FLEGT-licensed products within the Union market.
