Registration of vehicles authorised to be placed on the market
Article 22
1. Before a vehicle is used for the first time, and after the authorisation to be placed on the market in accordance with Article 21 is granted, it shall be registered in a vehicle register as referred to in Article 47 at the request of the keeper. 2. When the area of use of the vehicle is restricted to the territory of one Member State, it shall be registered in that Member State. 3. When the area of use of the vehicle covers the territory of more than one Member State, it shall be registered in one of the Member States concerned.
