Fishing authorisations

Article 14

1.   The maximum number of fishing authorisations for Union fishing vessels fishing in waters of a third country is set out in Annex III. 2.   Where one Member State transfers quota to another Member State (‘swap’) in the fishing areas set out in Annex III to this Regulation on the basis of Article 16(8) of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013, the transfer shall include an appropriate transfer of fishing authorisations and shall be notified to the Commission. However, the total number of fishing authorisations for each fishing area, as set out in Annex III to this Regulation, shall not be exceeded.
