The operation of European Competition Network

Article 33

1.   The costs incurred by the Commission in connection with the maintenance and the development of the central information system of the European Competition Network (European Competition Network System) and in connection with cooperation within the European Competition Network shall be borne by the general budget of the Union within the limit of the available appropriations. 2.   The European Competition Network shall be able to develop and, where appropriate, publish best practices and recommendations on matters such as independence, resources, powers, fines and mutual assistance.
