Article 4
1. In accordance with Article 12(1) of Regulation (EU) 2021/695, the financial envelope for the implementation of the Specific Programme for the period from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2027 shall be EUR 83 397 000 000 in current prices. 2. As a result of the programme specific adjustment provided for in Article 5 of Council Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2020/2093 ( 12 ) and in Annex II to Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2020/2093, the amount referred to in paragraph 1 shall be increased by an additional allocation of EUR 2 790 000 000 in constant 2018 prices for the Specific Programme. 3. The amount referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be distributed among the components set out in Article 3(1) of this Decision in accordance with Article 12(2) of Regulation (EU) 2021/695. The amount referred to in paragraph 2 of this Article shall be distributed among the components set out in Article 3(1) of this Decision in accordance with Article 12(4) of Regulation (EU) 2021/695. The arrangements set out in Article 12(5) to (9) of Regulation (EU) 2021/695 shall apply.
