Completion of information on vaccination and health testing in Sections VII, VIII and IX of the single lifetime identification document
Article 35
1. Where the rules and regulations of an organisation or authority referred to in Article 33(1) require for access to certain equestrian competitions and races, specific vaccinations and health testing: (a) the administering veterinarian shall enter the details of the vaccination against equine influenza or other diseases respectively in Section VII or VIII of the model identification document for equine animals set out in Part 1 of Annex II; (b) the veterinarian acting on behalf of competent authority or the organisations and authorities referred to in Article 33(1) requesting the health test, shall enter the results of health tests undertaken for the detection of a listed or non-listed transmissible disease by a veterinarian or a laboratory in Section IX of the model identification document for equine animals set out in Part 1 of Annex II. 2. Where the competent authority has authorised the use of smart cards or digital applications on portable electronic devices in accordance with Article 20(2), the information in paragraph 1(a) and (b) shall also be included in those smart cards or digital applications on portable electronic devices.
