National registries and services
Article 8
1. Member States that have national registries or services that are equivalent to the data service directory or evidence broker may choose not to register evidence providers, the types of evidence they issue and the facts or compliance with procedural requirements they prove, possibly jointly with other evidence types, and the level of assurance of the electronic identification means required to access each type of evidence as provided for in Articles 5 and 6. In such a case, they shall instead do one of the following: (a) allow other Member States to search their national registries for the information referred to under this paragraph; (b) copy the information referred to under this paragraph from the national registries or services to the data service directory or evidence broker. 2. When implementing paragraph 1, Member States shall be guided by the descriptions contained in the technical design documents.
