在本條中，肺塵埃沉着病或間皮瘤(或兩者)引致的死亡或殘疾 (death or disability resulting from pneumoconiosis or mesothelioma (or both))指肺塵埃沉着病或間皮瘤(或兩者)引致的死亡、殘疾、疼痛及痛苦或任何種類的任何其他損失或損害；而肺塵埃沉着病引致的死亡或殘疾 (death or disability resulting from pneumoconiosis)及間皮瘤引致的死亡或殘疾 (death or disability resulting from mesothelioma)均須據此解釋。
