Fee for legal aid services and public defence services

(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, any person eligible for legal aid or public defence services under this Act, shall pay to the Director General a fee as prescribed by the Minister. (2) The payment of fees under this Act shall be made before the issuance of any certificate or provision of services under this Act. (3) The fees paid under this Act shall be deposited into a trust account.
