Malaysian Timber Industry Board (Incorporation) Act 1973 s 4
s 4 Composition of the Board
(1) The Board shall consist of the following members who shall be appointed by the Minister:
(a) a Chairman;
(b) a representative of the Ministry responsible for the timber industry;
(c) a representative of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry;
(d) a representative of the Forestry Department Peninsular Malaysia;
(e) a representative of the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia;
(f) one representative of each of not more than five of such States as the Minister may determine;
(g) representatives of recognized associations to be appointed as provided in section 5; and
(h) not more than two persons who in the opinion of the Minister are able to contribute to the development of the Malaysian timber industry.
(2) The terms and conditions of the appointment of the Chairman, and his remuneration, shall be determined by the Minister.

Keanggotaan Lembaga
(1) Lembaga hendaklah terdiri daripada anggota yang berikut yang hendaklah dilantik oleh Menteri:
(a) seorang Pengerusi;
(b) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Perusahaan Perladangan dan Komoditi;
(ba) Ketua Setiausaha Perbendaharaan;
(c) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri;
(d) Ketua Pengarah daripada Jabatan Perhutanan Semenanjung Malaysia;
(e) Ketua Pengarah Institut Penyelidikan Perhutanan Malaysia;
(ea) Ketua Pengarah;
(f) seorang wakil setiap satu daripada tidak lebih daripada lima Negeri sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Menteri;
(g) wakil daripada persatuan yang diiktiraf yang hendaklah dilantik sebagaimana yang diperuntukkan dalam seksyen 5; dan
(h) tidak lebih daripada dua orang yang pada pendapat Menteri boleh memberi sumbangan kepada kemajuan perindustrian kayu Malaysia.
(2) Terma dan syarat pelantikan Pengerusi dan saraannya hendaklah ditentukan oleh Menteri.
