These years come from the date the Laws of Malaysia records for each Act. For an Act republished under the Revision of Laws Act 1968 that is the year of the revised edition, not the year Parliament passed it: the Evidence Act 1950 (Act 56) is listed under 1971. Every Act keeps its own year in its title.
