s 30B Power to specify rules on deposit and rebate schemes
The Minister, after consultation with the Council, may specify the guidelines and procedures on deposit and rebate schemes in connection with the disposal of products that are considered—
(a) environmentally unfriendly; or
(b) causing adverse constraint on the environment,
for the purpose of collecting the products efficiently in order to ensure that the recycling or disposal of the products is done in an environmentally sound manner.
