s 46 Sessions Court and Court of a Magistrate of the First Class to have jurisdiction

Notwithstanding any written law to the contrary, a Sessions Court in Peninsular Malaysia or a Court of a Magistrate of the First Class* in Sabah and Sarawak shall have jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act and to award the full punishment for any such offence. *NOTE—See section 111 of the Subordinate Courts Act 1948 [Act 92].
