s 8 Presiding officer at meetings of the Council
(1) The Chairman of the Council shall preside at all meetings of the Council.
(2) If, owing to absence or inability to act due to illness or any other cause, the Chairman of the Council is unable to preside at any meeting the members present shall elect one of their number to preside at that meeting.
(3) No business shall be transacted at any meeting of the Council in the absence of the Chairman until a member has been elected to preside over that meeting.

(1) Pengerusi Majlis hendaklah mempengerusikan segala mesyuarat Majlis.
(2) Jika, oleh kerana tidak hadir atau tidak berupaya bertugas oleh sebab sakit atau oleh apa-apa sebab lain. Pengerusi Majlis tidak berupaya mempengerusikan sesuati mesyuarat maka ahli-ahli yang hadir hendaklah memilih seorang dari antara mereka untuk mempengerusikan mesyuarat itu.
(3) Tiada apa-apa urusan boleh dijalankan dalam sesuatu mesyuarat Majlis semasa Pengerusi tidak hadir sehingga seorang ahli telah dipilih untuk mempengerusikan mesyuarat itu. Saraan.
