s 11 Notice on person prospecting
(1) The Director General may by notice require any person prospecting land for metal or minerals under licence or permit issued under any law relating to mining for the time being in force—
(a) to make and submit to him a record of description and place of finding of specimens of rock material, mineral, ore, fossiliferous materials or other naturally occurring mineral substance in the earth;
(b) to surrender to him the aforesaid specimens or samples or part of the specimens or samples for the purpose of identification or analysis provided such request is made within 6 months after the completion of the prospecting;
(c) to give a true account of the results of the prospecting as soon as possible after its completion or at such intervals during its continuance as he may direct.
(2) The Director General may retain such specimens or samples as may be surrendered to him under paragraph (1)(b).

(1) Ketua Pengarah boleh dengan notis menghendaki Notisatas seseoran eyand menarişaly ananah uutrk angamavah mana neanaitali. mana undang-undang berhubung dengan perlombongan yang berkuatkuasa pada masa itu—
(a) membuat dan mengemukakan kepadanya suatu rekod perial dan, tempat dijan Poi spasiau laiahar atubatan, galian, bahan galian yang terjadi dengan cara semulajadi
(b) menyerahkan kepadanya spesimen-spesimen atau contoh-contoh yang tersebut di atas atau bahagian spesimen-spesimen atau contoh-contoh itu bagi maksud pengenalan atau penganalisaan dengan syarat permintaan seperti itu dibuat dalam masa 6 bulan selepas tamatnya carigalian itu;
(c) memberi suatu keterangan yang benar mengenai hasil carigalian itu dengan seberapa segera yang boleh selepas tamatnya carigalian itu atau pada sesuatu lat-tempoh sebagaimana diarahkan ölehnya dalam masa carigalian itu berterusan.
(2) Ketua Pengarah boleh menyimpan apa-apa spesimen atau contoh yang diserahkan kepadanya di bawah seksyenkecil (1) (b).
