Nothing in this Act shall operate to relieve any owner, occupier, engineer, dredgemaster, driver or other person from any civil or criminal liability.

Tiada apa-apa jua dalam Akta ini boleh berkuat kuasa untuk melepaskan mana-mana pemunya, penghuni, jurutera, ketua kapal korek, drebar atau orang lain daripada apa-apa liabiliti sivil atau jenayah.
