s 29 Disciplinary jurisdiction of the Council
(1) The Council shall have disciplinary jurisdiction over all veterinary surgeons registered under this Act.
(2) The Council may exercise disciplinary jurisdiction over any registered veterinary surgeonβ
(a) who has been convicted in Malaysia or elsewhere of any offence punishable with imprisonment (whether in itself only or in addition to or in lieu of a fine);
(b) who has been guilty of infamous conduct in any professional respect;
(c) who has obtained registration by fraud or misrepresentation;
(d) who was not at the time of his registration entitled to be registered; or
(e) whose name has since been removed from any register of veterinary surgeon maintained in any place outside Malaysia.

Bidang kuasa tatatertib Majlis
(1) Majlis hendaklah mempunyai bidang kuasa tatatertib ke atas semua doktor veterinar yang didaftarkan di bawah Akta ini.
(2) Majlis boleh menjalankan bidang kuasa tatatertib ke atas seseorang doktor veterinar berdaftar yangβ
(a) telah disabitkan di Malaysia atau di mana-mana tempat lain atas sesuatu kesalahan yang boleh hukum dengan pemenjaraan (sama ada pemenjaraan sahaja atau sebagai tambahan kepada denda atau sebagai ganti denda);
(b) telah bersalah kerana berkelakuan buruk dari apa-apa jua segi profesion;
(c) telah mendapatkan pendaftaran dengan jalan fraud atau salah nyata;
(d) tidak berhak didaftarkan pada masa dia didaftarkan; atau
(e) namanya telah dikeluarkan daripada sesuatu daftar doktor veterinar yang disenggarakan di mana-mana tempat di luar Malaysia.
