Chemists Act 1975 s 1
s 1 Short title, application and commencement
(1) This Act may be cited as the Chemists Act 1975.
(2) This Act shall apply throughout Malaysia and, except as provided in subsection (3), shall come into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.
(3) Subsection 23(2) shall come into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette, being a date not earlier than four calender months after the date appointed under subsection (2).

Tajuk ringkas, pemakaian dan permulaan kuat kuasa
(1) Akta ini bolehlah dinamakan Akta Ahli Kimia 1975.
(2) Akta ini hendaklah terpakai bagi seluruh Malaysia dan, kecuali sebagaimana yang diperuntukkan dalam subseksyen (3), hendaklah mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta.
(3) Subseksyen 23(2) hendaklah mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang akan ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta, iaitu suatu tarikh yang tidak lebih awal dari empat bulan kalendar selepas tarikh yang ditetapkan di bawah subseksyen (2).
