(1) A person who has been registered as a Fellow of the Institute may, so long as he is so registered, describe himself by the words “Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry” or their equivalent in any other language, and may use the initials thereof after his name.
(2) A person who has been registered as an Associate of the Institute may, so long as he is so registered, describe himself by the words “Associate of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry” or their equivalent in any other language, and may use the initials thereof after his name.
(3) A person who has been registered as a Licentiate of the Institute may, so long as he is so registered, describe himself by the words “Licentiate of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry” or their equivalent in any other language, and may use the initials thereof after his name.

(1) Seseorang yang telah didaftarkan sebagai seorang Fellow bagi Institut boleh, selagi dia didaftarkan sedemikian, memperihalkan dirinya dengan perkataan “Fellow bagi Institut Kimia Malaysia” atau apa-apa perkataan yang seumpamanya dalam apa-apa bahasa lain dan boleh menggunakan huruf parap bagi perkataan itu di hadapan namanya.
