Plant Quarantine Act 1976 s 14

s 14 Prohibition of importation or possession of noxious plants and pests

No person, except the Director shall— (a) import any noxious plant; (b) possess or keep any noxious plant or allow the same to grow in or on any land of which he is the owner or occupier; or (c) import or keep any pest: Provided that the Director may in writing exempt any person from any or all of the provisions of this section subject to such conditions as he may impose in the exemption.
