s 24 Repeal and saving

The Agricultural Pests and Noxious Plants Ordinance 1953 [Ord. 59 of 1953], the Sabah Agricultural Pests Ordinance [Cap. 4], and the Sarawak Agricultural Pests Ordinance [Cap. 124] are repealed: Provided that— (a) any appointment made under such repealed Ordinances shall, in so far as the same is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been made under this Act; and (b) any notice, direction, order, regulation or rule issued or made under such repealed Ordinances shall, in so far as the same is not inconsistent with this Act, continue in force and have effect as if it had been issued or made under this Act.
